Ponds at Foxhollow
We will be at Ponds at Foxhollow for Christmas week 2006. Can you actually skate on the "ponds" that are at the resort? My kids love to skate and I don't want to get their hopes up if the resort does not allow ice skating.
Also, the resort states 10 miles for DH skiing...is this accurate, and where is the best slope for intermediate skiers? Thanks so much... |

Butternut is the about 10 miles away. http://www.butternutbasin.com/
Jimmy Peak is a little further (20+ miles) Butternut is a nice family ski resort for intermediate skiers. I believe the resort sells the discount lift tickets for their guests. We were there a few years ago in Feb, but we did not see anyone skating on the ponds. JoyC |
