Madge,

RCI lists supply and demand as one of the factors affecting trading power. Obviously, it makes a difference (in terms of supply and demand) as to which week you deposit.

Would it also make a difference whether you deposited a Friday vs. a Saturday check in? In other words, if a person has the choice of depositing a Friday vs. Saturday check in at the same resort for the same week, would both deposits have the same trading power? Or, would the trading power differ based upon a differing "supply and demand" for one check in day over the other?

This question, or a similar one, has been asked hundreds of times. The answer is:

Trading Power does include all of the following:

Supply, demand, and usage of the week, resort and area
Unit size and occupancy
Vacation Experience Profile
How far in advance the week is deposited

Roger,

It is the Interval that carries specific Trading Power and not the specific check-in day. Varying check-in days are created for staffing and other needs the resort might have. Trading Power is not impacted by this.
