More than one SpyBot? Pay & Free???

I downloaded Spybot. It found 72 items. It asked me to register and pay a fee to remove them. I removed the Spybot and downloaded another Spybot which was free to download. Again after finding 72 items which was suggested to be removed, in order to remove them I have to pay and register. Am I doing something wrong or it is a pay item now?

You must be doing something wrong. Spybot is free. Are you sure it isn't some sound alike program?

The one you want is Spybot Search & Destroy (Google that and you'll find it). The paid one is a ripoff of the name and may cause problems with your PC. The only payment for the real Spybot S&D is a requested donation - no forced payment for use.

Thanks. I got it downloaded fknally. :whoopie: I had downloaded the wrong one---Spybot Spyware. I needed Searcch & Destroy. I will be making a donation. I ran it and got rid of my spyware items.
