Question re: Manhattan Club

Someone just sent me a PM asking about how they can prove a rental outlet for the Manhattan Club is legit. They offered him a great price for a one-bedroom unit for a whole month in May and June all in the same unit. The rate is less than $100/night.

The rental outlet claims they are doing direct exchanges with owners to get inventory. That could be possible.

My question is this. How does the Manhattan Club offer confirmation to owners of units they have reserved for them. Do they get a confirmation letter in the mail and how do they assign guests?

Thanks

I'm sure an owner will show up and tell us, My uncle is a "founder" but I'm in Aruba and phones are expensive. Anyway, since a 1BR MF is ~$200/night, $100 seems pretty incredulous.

Spence,

Okay, when you return from Aruba, let's figure out what this is all about. The best way to call from Aruba is to get broadband in your unit and call via Skype. Free calls. Only issue is if broadband is expensive.

Well, I've got WiFi in my room from the local phone co. for $35 for the week, but i don't have a mike and don't know anything about skype, it'll have to be next time for that. I'm home tomorrow night and my Uncle gets back from a cruise sometime Thursday, I'll call him.

MC Rental

The Manhattan Club gives conformation numbers right on the phone if you make the reservation by phone ,and if the club has your e-mail address you automaticaly gets conformation by e-mail also
reservation can also be made on line and you get conformation e-mail to you the next day
an owner that rents gets his/or her conformation # and is required to give the Manhattan club the renters name and address and phone number for security reason
you can always call reservation and give them the confirmation number and they will tell you what days the reservation or for ,$100 anite sounds great but the same room for a mth dont sound right onlest its one owner that own the four weeks and then he has to make each week reservation seperate as each week has seperate contract number, and would get four seperate conformation # and then rooms are not assign ontill check in,you can request a certin room two days in advance of check in but its not a lock
