Resort notification by RCI

Just had something happen that I thought was interesting. I have read here on several occassions that RCI usually notifies a resort with the trade information about 2 weeks in advance of check-in. Well I recently made a trade for a Sept 2007 check-in. I usually make most all of my trades online. This one was done over the phone in order to take advantage of a credit I had on account. In yesterday's mail I received a confirmation letter and resort information from the resort. And I have yet to get the confirmation from RCI, about 4 weeks ago. Guess the 2 weeks rule is not true.
 
Depends on the resort.

Some resorts never send me anything, some send their own packet right away, some wait until closer to check in. I think that there are some resorts that ask RCI to hold back the info until 2 weeks ahead and others that say Send It When You Get It.
