Does RCI give Bonue Weeks for Deposits?

I usually get bonus weeks from II and SFX for deposits. I just joined RCI for the heck of it and I have not deposited any weeks yet. Does RCI also give bonus weeks? Also, is there anyway I can search for an exchange without actually depositing a week? I know I can do this in II, but is it possible for RCI? Thanks.

You can use the search feature and find discussions about One Plus One weeks. We have had one sitting there for close to a year, but I'm not totally sure how it got there. Basically, if it was written on paper, it is worth almost what the paper would be worth.

It's listed in our account online under Comp Weeks.

I wouldn't expect Bonus Weeks from RCI to be any better deal than Last Call, Extra Vacation or One Plus One, so it wouldn't matter if they gave them out or not.

I asked for and received a Bonus Week for my 2007 GPP SoCal summer week.

• I can't search against the Bonus Week (must work with RCI rep over the phone)
• Booking against Bonus Week will be charged current exchange fee + tax.

Could you search using the underlying week, place on hold and then call the RCI rep to change to the Bonus week?
