? on Reservation System for Riviera Beach & Spa -- Owners Please help

Can someone tell me how the reservation system works for booking your week at the Riviera Beach & Spa resort. For example, if you want to book your 2007 week, I heard that you must wait until January 2007 to put in your request and you don't hear until March or April as to what you got. Can that be right? That makes no sense. Can an owner enlighten me on this. Thanks.

We owned at Riviera Beach several years ago and that was the reservation system they had in place at that time. And I was told about a year ago, that the management company for Riviera Beach was planning on a new reservation system but I don't know if that happened. We have since converted our Riviera Beach to Monarch Grand points.

Just a side note, this reservation system is NOT company wide. The reservation system at Riviera Shores and Palm Canyon are not this way at all.

I don't know how it works now, and I'm not an owner, but I can tell you that we confirmed a May, '07 exchange into a 1 BR unit on 12/5/06. Jean
