Need advise on Delta ticket - Timeshare Users Group Online Community Forums

On March 29 of 2006 I bought two tickets on Delta to fly in September. We ended up having to cancel the trip when DH could not get off work. If I understand correctly I have till March, 29 to apply this credit toward another flight and pay the $50 fee. Do I actually have to complete the trip by then, or can I use it as credit against a flight for a trip in August? Since I don't have plans to go anywhere till after the March 29th date does anyone have any suggestions on how I can salvage some value from this?

As far as I know, you just have to use the credit to purchase a ticket by March 29. You do not have to fly by then.

I can't speak with certainty for your case, but I had a ticket for a trip that I didn't take on another airline. I rebooked it just before the year was up, but I didn't take the trip for another 6 months.

Call Delta, get instructions, do what ever is necessary, forgetaboutit until the travel dates roll around. Enjoy.
