Need a suggestion for a hotel in Amsterdam Holland - Timeshare Users Group Online Community Forums

We are heading to Amsterdam, Holland on July 13, arriving on the morning of the 14th and need a hotel for 2 nights. Our DD used her FF miles to get us there so we can take a 2 week river cruise to Vienna. But we can't board until the 16th. Any suggestions? We prefer inexpensive, clean, close to what ever there is to do in Amsterdam...downtown??? TIA.

I can't give you an inexpensive hotel suggestion, but I do recommend that you stay in the city center. There is enough there that you should be able to stay busy sightseeing for a couple of days. A lot of sites are within walking distance.
