Do you remember these?

Most of them no, but some did carry into the sixties when I was a kid (I was born in 55)

I was also born in 1955 and remember some of it. Ahhh...the good ol' days.

But remember the music from Carousel of Progress that makes us feel better about changes over the years, "these are the best days of your life"♫♫♫♪♪♫♪ and "there's a great big beautiful tomorrow, just a dream away." Sorry, I am missing Disney. It has been two months since we have been there, another 8 months 18 days to go.

Oh no! There are only 2 I don't remember; boys wearing knickers and Sunday movies taboo. Does that make me really, really old?:bawl:

The same 2 I don't remember but we used to have a picture of my parents on their honeymoon on the Atlantic City boardwalk and my father had knickers on.

The others brought many memories and a few good laughs. My brother smoked Lucky Strike as long as I can remember.

only a few for me ... most I learned about a lot of them in my History classes.

But, I'm curious ... what's a Dixie cup top?

I remember quite a few, but I probably shouldn't because I wasn't born until '68!

Dixie Cup tops - the top on a cup of ice cream. Only for us they were "hoodsie" cups, made by the Hood dairy. They still make them, but not with the pictures on the lids.
