We are visiting the week of 4/15. Have never vacationed in So Ca, we have a 3 and 5 yr old. We plan on doing a day at each of the big family attractions Disneland, Legoland, and San Diego zoo.

Any other good recommnedations on things to do in the area? Or any ideas on making any of this more affordable???? All thoughts would be greatly appreciated.:)

I would use the days off to make use of the Newport Coast pools and activities. Also go to the beach and spend the day. If you go up to the desk early you can check out one of their State Park passes and park at the State Park.

Trader Joe's is just south of NCV. Great prices! I would also try to hit a Costco or Sam's Club on your first full day.

Enjoy!!

For kids your age I would suggest you look at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park( just down the road from Disneyland), Camp Snoopy there is aimed for your aged children.

Another small park for smaller children is Adventure City in Stanton, which is close to Long Beach, an easy trip up the 405 to Beach Blvd.
