Marriott's Manor Club at Ford's Colony

What is the difference between Marriott's Manor Club at Ford's Colony & Marriott's Manor Club Sequel? One has a 2 bd that sleeps 8 and the other sleeps 6. Are they located on the same grounds? Is this the same resort? (like phase II & phase II?)

Thanks
Emily

Resorts: Marriott Aruba Surf Club Marriott Manor Club Sequel
They are both located on the same resort. Manor Club has only 2BR. A king in one, a queen in the other, and a sofa bed in the family room.

Sequel has lockoff units. Their 2BR has a king in one, a queen and sofabed in the other, and another sofa bed in the family room. That's why it sleeps more.

There is currently ongoing construction next to the Sequal buildings. The original units are much nicer IMO.

Actually, the original section...MMC...has a king in each bedroom. No queens. The original section also has full brick colonial architecture and a very traditional, elegant Virginia ambience.

The sequel side...while nice...is a bit like a glorified Residence Inn. These units are lock offs and sleep more people, but they are not in the same league as the orginal villas.
