Lumberton, NC Fairfield Inn
If you were following the previous thread, we were looking for a place to stay as a 1/2 way point on our way to HHI. The Fairfield Inn in Lumberton, NC was recommended and it was perfect for us. I used Marriott points, but the cost with AAA was only $80 for a king. The staff was very friendly, breakfast was great, and the room and bathroom was very clean. My only recommendation on the Marriott survey I received was to clean the carpets more frequently. My son's feet were very dirty from walking around our room. Hope that helps if you are looking for a stopping point; we will definitely use that one again. Thanks to those of you who made the suggestion.
