Phoenix Resort

Have been offered VACATION CONDOS at TAPATIO CLIFFS in Phoenix and just wondred if anyone has stayed there and what is it like. I have tried to find something about it on the WEB but only get ads for sale or rent. Would appreciate any info.

Years ago, I stayed at the Pointe at Tapatio Cliffs, a VERY nice hotel. I did not know that they are a timeshare, which is what I assume your question relates to.

The resort is luxurious, sitting on a hill top, with great views and a nice restaurant. We went horseback riding on site, and the luxurious spa and pool area was inviting, as I recall.

Same here, I stayed there around 1985-1986 when it was the Pointe at Tapatio Cliffs. I was working with a client for two weeks and they suggested that I stay there. It was very luxurious, and as I remember it, there were quite a few swimming pools.

I think it was bought by a chain, and went through at least a couple of owners. It's now a Hilton. You can find information about the resort at the Hilton website. Google "pointe hilton tapatio cliffs" and "pointe hilton tapatio cliffs timeshare" and you'll get plenty of hits about both the hotel and the vacation condos.

I don't think you're thinking the same place. The TS the OP is talking about is a condo unit in a gated community. You can check TUG reviews and also google it for a few other pop-ups. I was looking at the resort myself a couple days ago, trying to decide if we wanted to stay there for the timeframe we're looking at.

To the OP, from what I read, because it is a gated community with full condo ownership and permanent residents, there isn't a lot to do (in terms of typical resort stuff) but it is a great base from which to go to places. Depends on what you're looking for.

You're right. It looks like the timeshare property is owned by West Coast Timeshare Ltd. and their website is Point to Point Destinations.
