Besides the reviews, which I've read, has anybody stayed at any of the timeshares near Helen GA lately. Town sounds interesting, timeshares not too much.

I've never stayed in any of the timeshares, but Helen is a fun place to visit. We go the first weekend in June each year when they have a hot air balloon race. It's a great area for hiking and sightseeing.

We always stay at the Helendorff Inn and get a room right on the river. It's great to just sit out on the balcony and watch the tubers going down the river.

If you have children, be certain to drive over to Cleveland to see Babyland General Hospital the home of the Cabbage Patch Kids. You can see a doll being "born."

Sky Valley resorts and Brassie Knob Villas in Dillard is close to Helen. I own at both.
