DVC info

I have now stayed at all 7 DVC resorts and have even stayed at the 8th one if you count the AKV hotel side.

I can help with any questions on DVC or locations.

I have exchanges for two consecutive weeks this fall. Can you recommend room locations? Our first week is a 2BR at VWL and the second week is a 2BR at Boardwalk. I also am wondering if we get a top floor will it have high ceilings at either of these resorts? Thanks!

Beach Club Villas are the closest to Epcot. They also have the best pool area in all WDW. The Boardwalk is closer to MGM and also obviously to the Boardwalk restaurants and clubs.

We've stayed at BCV for two years in a row and now I'm having trouble imagining staying anywhere else.

You can't go wrong with either the Beach Club or Boardwalk. The Beach Club is about 150 yards closer to EPCOT and the pool is nicer.

Most room requests are not guaranteed, unless it is a view room at the Boardwalk. I like the higher floors and some have vaulted ceilings.

Timing of walk from BCV

I timed our walk from the second we walked out of the BCV building until we arrived at the turnstiles at the IG. The time was just over 7'30"
We were walking kind of slowly (my wife has a bad knee) so your time could easily be less.

Love DVC

Hi there-

When we stay at the VWL we like to request highest floor---for the dormer room/higher ceiling. We also ask for water view...which has the pool and Bay Lake through the trees. The dormer rooms have a solid balcony wall though.

At the Beach Club I request highest floor with an Epcot view. The best was lying in bed staring at the Epcot ball at night and we were able to see the Illuminations fireworks from our balcony. The pool at the Beach Club is great---sand bottom, lazy river, etc...love it!
Seems like we can walk to Epcot faster from the BCV.

Have fun!
