At Kings Creek Plantation

We are in a 3 bedroom cottage at Kings Creek this week. The unit is very nice. We haven't used the pool areas but they look great. It is very nice to have a grill right off the porch of the cottage. It is a little wet today but we can use the rest. We had a great dinner at the Trellis last night as our son and his girl friend have been down from DC. We will be here until Thurs before heading back to Sun City HHI.

Last week we were in unit 203. Also, a 3 bedroom cottage. The indoor pool and out doors pools are very nice. I hope the weather clears up for the rest of your vacation week.

Unit 203 is an A & B Unit. This a lockout unit. This is a single cottage.

Please try one of the these Colonial Williamsburg Taverns, King's Arms, Christians Campbell's, Chowning's or Shields Tavern. All are located throughtout the picturesque Colonial Williamsburg's Historic area.

Enjoy your week in Virginia.

We are enjoying the week even though the weather isn't so great. We had a power outage yesterday that lasted until 2am this morning. Unfortunately, the unit is not equipped with lanterns and candles or pots to cook over the fireplace. We just enjoyed the romantic light from the fireplace and made the best of the situation. We had dinner at the Trellis and lunch at the Old Chickahominy House. Most of the time we have eaten in the unit. We really enjoyed Thomas Jeffersons speech this morning. We plan to go to a candlelight chorus concert in the church tonight. It should be an appropriate place to pray for the Hokies. My son's girlfriend graduated from VT and as he says, "We are all Hokies today".

Janette, aren't the 2 bd units huge!! the big kitchen/ dining area, the huge living room and the 2 big bd upstairs, also the 2 1/2 baths . On the other hand I wouldn't want to stend a week in the lockoff. the 1 bd side is tiny!! You're lucky to get the whole cottage.
