We have a trip to VV in the Berkshires confirmed for this summer. Does anybody know how close buildings 4 and 12 are to each other? Does anybody have a map of the resort? Thanks!

just going by memory
We were there last summer in building 8 or 9 and that was right across from the clubhouse.
You enter the resort and head up the main road which is lined with buildings beginning from 1 and going up to about 8. So, building 4 would be on that road. The road goes up to the pool and turns left a makes a horseshoe shape around the clubhouse/pool. This I believe is where building 12 would be. This would be much easier to visualize with a map, but unfortunately I do not have one. The resort is fairly small compared to many others out there. The walk from 4 to 12 would be up hill, so depending on the person this may or may not be a difficult walk. We like the resort very much. Have fun! |

You should be able to call the resort and request two units closer together; they used to be pretty accommodating.

Make sure you get groceries in town before you get there. There is a gourmet market called Guidos which was really great. Cellphones have no signal at the resort. Across the street at the Jimny Peak skihouse there is a minimart.
We also went into Bennington Vermont to Bennington Pottery and ate at Madison Brew House and on the way visited The Apple Barn. Simply yummy! You can buy fresh baked pies. Apple Barn was worth the stop. http://www.berkshireweb.com/sports/farms/applebarn.html Resort told us when we stayed there that you take what you are assigned period. Lady was not friendly. The pool and clubhouse are at the top of the hill near bldg 11. Have fun!

Check the latest Endless Vacation magazine, they have a short article on the Berkshires.

Thanks for the replies! I'm still interested in a map of the property if anyone has one.
