Has anyone stayed at this resort? Is it nice and how far is it from the strip?

We felt it was very nice, the people there were friendly and it is about 20 minutes from the strip. It seemed sort of upscale in the units and it was very relaxing.

Good, have an exchange there for the first part of April, 2008 in a two bedroom unit.
 
I have left a couple of reviews for Cliffs at Peace Canyon: one on TUG and one at Igougo. Just do a search for "smileygirl" at Igougo.. www.igougo.com

We love CAPC (Cliffs at Peace Canyon) because it gets us away from the hectic strip and those casinos!! :D This is the perfect place for some peace and quiet.

Just so that you know, CAPC offers free shuttle service. The shuttle goes to the grocery store, Freemont Street, and to the strip. I would advise renting a car, unless you don't mind following the shuttle's schedule. We didn't rent a car the last time we were there and it did offer some inconvenience because we couldn't explore other places.

Thanks for the pictures, it looks like a nice resort. We just returned last week from Las Vegas. We stayed at the Summer Bay resort. It was kind of a dump but the location was great.
