Going to Italy- What brand of Travel Converter Adapter should I get?

Can a regular one handle recharging camera or cell phone batteries or do I need to get a high /low type of converter?

I've never taken my video camera, but have had no problem charging my phone with a regular one.

We have found that new electronics like our digital camera and laptop no longer need the current converted, ; they are built to adjust current. Adaptors are still needed for the plugs.

Check the appliance. If it shows 120/210 V, all you need is a plug adapter rather than the more expensive converter. Luggage stores in the mall often carry the adapters and can explain how to use them.
