Mizner vs Vacation Village at Weston

Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

I have both Mizner Place and Vacation Village at Weston on hold (Last Calls) for early June. Any opinions on the best choice for two adults and two children (ages 6 and 3 1/2). Looking for a relaxing week with lots of time at the pool etc.

I know they are close in proximity but would like to know if one would be better than the other for our group. Also, should a one bedroom suffice or pay the extra $179 for another room??

mizner vs weston

We've stayed at Weston Vacation Village twice and did a tour of Mizner 2 months ago. We like Weston better because I like the tennis, and there is a great pool. The advantage of Mizner is that it is close to one of the town centers, so you can walk to shopping and several restaurants. The units are almost exactly alike. The large 1 bedroom (A) is fine for 4 people, but don't take the B side. It's almost like an efficiency apt. Many of the activities planned are at the weston, so you would have to drive to participate in them. Either way, I'm surel you'll have a good time!

I have never stayed at Mizner, but have stayed both at Weston and at Bonaventure. I have no kids, but I would think that Vacation Village at Weston would be more fun for the kids than Mizner. It has a huge pool with a waterfall where I have seen kids laughing and going thru the waterfall. There is also a huge hot tub and a large size kiddie pool. They do have many activities based right at VV at Weston. The one thing going for Mizner is that it is walking distance to the Publix and some restaurants and small shops. In that center they have a milkshake and burger place that is great and you can also sit outside if you want and another restaurant near it that also has outside seating.

Completely agree!! They have the best pool at vacation village at weston with waterfall that kids just love. I drove past Mizner and have no interest in ever staying there right next to publix and walgreen's parking lots.
