Anyone Familiar with Gutsy Women Travel or others?

My friend, who is turning 50 this year, wants to take a trip on her own via a travel group for the first time. Her research turned up Gutsy Women Travel, and she asked me to check if I know anyone with experience with this group (or another similar travel group for single women).

I posted a general question on the TUG Lounge asking about women travel groups last year for the same friend and at that time I had a few responses -- one TUGger did mention Gutsy Women Travel (but with no detail), one mentioned www.women-traveling.com and another mentioned Ambassadair Travel Club's occasional "women only" trips. I've checked Ambassadair Travel Club's upcoming trips and no "women only" trips are scheduled. I also noted someone mentioned looking at the list at Journeywomen.com.

But aside from one personal positive experience with women-traveling.com, no one mentioned either personal experience or knowledge of a friend/relative with personal experience with the other travel groups. I thought I'd post this updated inquiry on the Travel Board this time in hopes of reaching additional TUGgers. Also, my friend seems much more serious about taking one of these trips this year, and, given that these trips are fairly pricey, any additional recommendations would be helpful and much appreciated!

One of my girlfriends just came back from her third or fourth Gutsy Women Travel trips. She can't say enough good things about them. She has been very happy with their care of details. Once she was to take a tour from the East Coast, and her flight was to arrive the evening before. The tour organizer (who I think was Gutsy Women's owner, but I am not sure) picked her up, and then brought her home to the women's home for overnight!
