Smoke in SW Florida

Is anyone staying at Hyatt Coconut Plantation in Bonita Springs? How serious is the smoke problem?

Hopefully Conch Man will post since he lives closer to the resort than we do, but in Lehigh (about 30 mi inland from Ft. Myers) it is hazy & smoky today. Weatherman is saying we may get more this afternoon from Northern FL & Southern GA. A lot depends on which way the wind is blowing. Tuesday the smoke was extremely heavy, but lighter on Wednesday and yesterday was beautiful...and today more haze/smoke.
When will you be down this way??? Down here we would all be happy to have NO smoke and NO fires.
 
Hyatt Coconut Plantation Trip

We will be in Bonita Springs a week from Saturday (May 19). Hope your area clears soon.
 
Like JoAnn said it was really bad but as of late today its clearin-up & back to sunshine ~~ The question is how long before the next smoke cloud ~~ The best possiblr answer I can give you is ~~ When we have a Guld breeze from West to East & we many brush fires we gonna get the smoke clouds from up North Florida, GA & here in Bonita Springs ~~ The weather people here says its gonna be clearer by Sunday & Monday ~~ Hope this helps ~~
