Hi, We have a trade in to Pollard Brook for July. Our confirmation indicates we will stay in the units identified by POL but I have recently noticed there are some in the same timeshare company, located in Lincoln, NH which have IVP identification. Can someone explain the difference between the two places to me? Thanks. Linda

IVP may stand for Innseason vacation points deposits. Pollard Brook switched over to a points system 2 years ago and it's probably a points week deposit.

I'm not sure what it means, but we stayed there last summer. We loved it. we had so much fun, the units were cleaned daily, lots of activities for adults and kids. Be sure to go on a Moose hunt! If you have any questions, just post them. We would definatley go back!

The InnSeason Resort - Pollard Brook is on Brookline Road and I just got a letter from II saying the indoor pool and the whirlpool will be closed the month of July but the outdoor pool will be available and guests at Pollard Brook can use the facilities at InnSeason Resorts South Mountain which is also in Lincoln...perhaps that's the one with the IVP designation.
kaylasmom97 we will have our 6 1/2 yr old granddaughter with us...will there be activities for that age level? Did the timeshare have this moose hunt you spoke of or did you do it through some other place? Any suggestions for other things to do to entertain a 6 1/2 yr old. Thanks. Linda

We were in the out door pool most of the time when we were there. The indoor pool was very "steamy". South Mountain is less than a mile from Pollard Brook.

There were many activities. On Monday morning there is a meeting- but not a time share presentation - one that tells you whats going on at the resort and how to sign up. There was donuts and bagels there. There is free coffee/tea/hot chocolate in the lobby. A nice touch. There is a BBQ one evening. My dd was 9 at the time and there seemed to be alot of activities. There is a recreation desk that you can sign up for the activities. There is a moose hunt that leaves from the resort or you can sign up in town - its the same company. We only saw 2 moose, and we hunted for a long time. But it was fun. There is so much to do in the area, that we wished we had more time. the flume gorge is absolutly gorgeous, but there is alot of walking. We found the "Lost River" again alot of walking. There is a Cog Railroad that takes you up to the top. Unfortunatly we did not do this as there was too much fog when we were there. There is another train ride about 20 miles away. I can't think of the name of it right now. We also went to a Shaker Village, a 6 1/2 year old might think that is boring.

this is just off the top of my head. if I think of anything else, I'll post.
Have fun
