II Banked Week Expiry

Not being an II member yet, can some please advise how long you have to utilized your backed time with II?

Is it 2 yrs from deposit or 2 yrs from the actual banked week.

Also, what is the best time to bank a Locked-off 2BR (Marriott Horizon Orlando)... (ie. how many months in advance?)

It is two years from the date of the banked reservation.

So, if the reservation is for May 24th 2008, regardless of when it is banked... your time will be available to you until Mau 2010?

Yes,

You can use the week from one year before check-in (if you deposit it that early) to 2 years after the check-in date.

So in your example a reservation for a May 24th 2008 week will be ok to use for a exchange from May 24th 2007 ( one year before) to May 24th 2010 ( 2 years after check-in)

BUT the AC (bonus week) you get for the deposit is from 1 year of the date of the deposit not check-in date.
