America West/US Air Confirmation Codes

There is a new America West Connection from Austin to Phoenix direct to Lihue on Kauai.

Believe it or not, I have been given not one, not two, but three confirmation codes for the same flights. The codes seem to change every month or so. I have never been notified of the changes but have had to contact the airline myself.

Never flown them before and I hope this isn't an indication of what I can expect.

Not unusual, especially at US. It can happen for a variety of reasons, some of which are ongoing systemic causes and some of which are related to the recent changes to the US reservations system. Here's a sample of some of the reasons (from FlyerTalk).

Not to worry. Just make sure you have all three codes when checking in - just in case....

Lets see, 14 weeks till we fly so I might have something on the order of 20 codes by October!! I definitely will keep them all however, just in case.
