I just reserved a car with Hotwire (full size $191 total) for 1 week in Tampa for next January. Great price!

My question is if I call Avis to add my husband's "preferred membership" number will we keep the same great price? We really love the line bypass.

Thanks for your help.

Anne

My experience with Hotwire has been that you "give up" any/and/or all other perks and benefits when you book with them. Make sure you abide by all the rules, especially returning at/or before the specified time!

Most often that is the case, but not always.

A couple of months ago, I wound up with a Hertz rental at Atlanta through Hotwire, and Hertz connected me with my #1 Club account. Not sure how they did it, but when I got there I had a car waiting for me in the #1 Club area.
