Williamsburg Resturant Help

We will be leaving for the Williamsburg area tommorrow. I am looking for resturant recommendations for my family. I was looking for decent food where the entrees are not all in the 20 plus $$ range. Eating out with a family of 5 tends to be expensive.

Thanks!

Vicki

Vicki,

I was just in Williamsburg back in May and wrote an entire travel journal highlighting six or eight restaurants there:

That link should take you to it.

There are plenty of nice places that will not cost you an arm & a leg!

Resorts: Fairfield 233,000 points, Week# 25 Inverness at walden pond
Red, Hot and Blue BBQ
We loved it there, ate twice in a week.
There is a very good Chinese buffet in the Kmart plaza off of bypass rd. Its been the top rated buffet down there for many years.
Tequila Rose Mexican Restaurant is very good. Go to Restaurant.com for some good deals for them.

Also, in Colonial at Merchants square is a good pizza place that has good decent priced sandwiches. The place is called Stephanos Pizza & Subs. They are behind the cheese shop.

Sal's by Victor is on Richmond road and Monticello ave. It is a very good pizza shop.
We just came back from there on a 11 day trip. I know what you mean by not too expensive. We have four kids.

I recommend the following without any hesitation. All are terrific and low cost. Enjoy them.

Sal's by Victor in the Williamsburg Shopping Center
Pierce's Pitt cooked BBQ
Cheese Shop for lunch and dinner if you don't mind sandwiches

The living museum in Newport news http://www.thevlm.org/ is nice for the kids. Down in Norfolk about 40 minutes away there is a museum called Nauticus. http://www.nauticus.org/ The battleship U.S.S. Wisconsin is docked there and you can walk around on it.
