Where are the biking trails at Greensprings?
I noticed that Greensprings mentions biking trails nearby but can anyone tell me where they are? Do we need to drive to the trails? Thanks!

I was just at Powhatan and stopped at the local bike shop. It is bikebeat in the Monticello Ave shopping center which includes Ukrops and Target.
The bike shop had several routes/planned rides in varying legnths. They are on the wall by the register printed on brightly colored paper. The people are really nice and friendly there. We had a little brake issue on my son's bike and they were great. I rode 2 of the differerent paths/trips. They used some road and some paths. The paths are beautiful and scenic. If you plan to take a ride for 3, 4 , 5 miles or more, does it matter if you have to ride a mile or so to get to the path? Be warned that though the paths are relatively flat, the roads are just a little hilly in comparison to flat Long Island. |
