Are off brand labels as good as Avery

I am looking at Elite, Maco and "Corporate Express Signature" Full sheet address labels to be used as barcode labels.

If they jam or anything like that then the savings will not be worth it. So, if you've had some bad/good experience with off brand labels I would like to here about it.
 
We use Maco and Avery at work. They both go through the printer and copier just fine.
 
I have used the Office Depot brand labels for at least 5 or 6 years and have never had any problems with them. I print a lot of labels daily.
