Restaurant.com codes and Restaurants in Vegas
I just finished looking at Restaurant.com for restaurants near Polo Towers for our September vacation.
I decided on 'Quarks' (Star Trak theme---a 'sacrifice' to please my wife; not exactly my idea.) Then, I liked the looks of Garden Cafe at Alexis Park Hotel. I probably spent about an hour and a half choosing these two (there was a Mexican place that I considered as well.) I went to check out and use the Restaurant.com code 'present'---then I realized that it expired 7/31/07. Are there other Restauarant.com codes available (perhaps 60% off?) Has anybody been to Quarks---or Garden Cafe?? If not, do you have suggestions for Restaurant.com eateries near Polo Towers?? Thanks, Pat Last edited by #1 Cowboys Fan : August 3, 2007 at 05:46 PM. |

60% off usually comes up about the 20th of each month. Someone will usually post it on TUG.

quarks
I have been to quarks. If you are a big trekkie it will be fun as they have costumed characters who come to the tables and talk . We had a Romulon major growl at us and it was fun. The food was OK, it is really avery casual dinning place, burgers etc. SO depends on what you are looking for. Have fun.

I think the way Restaurant.com works is that restaurants allow a certain number of certificates to be sold each month. At the beginning of the month there aren't any discount codes... and then they release a 50% coupon a couple weeks in. After that they may go up to 60% or even 70% off. What happens is you risk the more popular restaurants selling out before the codes are released. Then all codes expire at the end of the month and it all starts over again!
What's good for CA residents is that the certificates never expire.

Just buy a mega certificate when the discounts are in effect, and use it whenever you need to. I bought $48 worth last December at 70% off. Now I use them as i need something. I split my megas into $100 for $12, and $50 for $6, so i don't have to worry about someone stealing my code on a hotel computer when I'm traveling.

There pretty much the same as gift certificates, but you can buy them for larger amounts. ($50, $100, ect,) Wait until the end of the month to buy as they have 60% off EVERY month! |
