Program that monitors Frequent Flyer Miles??

My bank offered a "one stop" program that monitored my FF accounts and updated them every week or so. It was a quick and easy way to keep track of FF miles.
They have announced that they are dropping this service.

Do you know of any other free program that would keep track of FF miles?

I use USA Today MileTracker http://www.usatoday.deskport.biz/faq.php Not sure how it compares to the one above.

Mileport is resident to your computer which I like very much. It works just fine and its free. What more can you ask?

I am confused about something-- in order to use mile port for amex rewards miles I have to type in the log in and password for my entire amex account- credit card info and all as it all appears with the member rewards mile info. That seems unwise- all my other mile programs just list the miles but this one is linked to my credit card info, etc. How do I get around this??

Looks interesting. For anyone that uses it, do you know if it has a way to record the 'Mileage expiration date'? I'm not as concerned with my balance on a regular basis, but rather knowing if miles are about to expire in any of my programs.

Blondie you are concerned about the log in information. However, with mileport it isn't stored anywhere but on your computer. If you have to log in all the info, would you have to do that if you logged into the site itself? I suspect so.

For airlines that have the mileage expiration information clearly listed on the member's account page, Mileport will pick it up and display it. But for those that have the expiration dates hidden in the fine print, Mileport can't find it. Mileport does upgrades frequently and expiration dates is one of the things its programmers are working on.

Jimster- are you saying that my login at Mileport is just a simpler version of the one I do anyway? That would be fine with me- I guess I just don't get how this mileport works. I guess what I read about "resident to my computer" means mileport just does the logging in I do anyway and updates my miles? Thanks- Blondie

Can someone please tell me how to enter my info into Mileport? I am going to setup but nothing happens when I tell it to retrieve my accounts. Do I enter these manually? If so, how/where? Thanks!

accounts

I think you are missing the accounts tab. Look at the setup after you do edit. Beside the tab that says users is a tab that says accounts. Click on that and i think you'll be fine.
