Spirit seat choices?

I can book either the leather seats or the big seats which are more expensive.

For those of you that have been using Spirit, is it worth the extra money for those big seats? Care more about the extra leg room, even though I'm short, but want the hubby to be extra comfortable, although he isn't all that tall either, but 8" taller than me.

I haven't joined the $9.00 fare plan, so I'm not talking about getting any real great deals, but just want a decent flight. Although the prices aren'tr too bad for a non-stop from Bos to MYR.
