The gal who was removed from Southwest airlines for improper dress made it on to Dr. Phil which reportedly was the 15th TV appearance for her regarding the incident.

Dr. Phil set up the situation in grand fashion and at one point asked if she were to receive an appology from Southwest would she drop it. Her response was "yea, pretty much."

They then had a rep from Virgin Atlantic appear who thought she looked fantastic and gave her free tickets to fly with them. (plug, plug, plug). Dr. Phil next read an appology from the CEO of SW which somewhat made light of the situation and their reaction to it, but appolgized twice in the letter to her as well as awarding her two free roundtrip tickets to anywhere they fly.

She took both sets of tickets and then when asked if this was the end of it, stated she would not appear on TV anymore, but left open the door to filing a lawsuit. Dr. Phil and the audience groaned and she handed back the SW tickets stating she'd never fly on SW again and wouldn't need them.

Supposedly, her attorney who was on the show wants a formal policy from SW and training of their employees so "something like this won't happen again."

Go figure.

I'd also heard SW is promoting a "Mini fare" or some such, where they're capitalizing on the incident, and recruiting passengers to wear mini skirts when they fly. Not sure what the reason is, other than to try and put a good spin on a stupid, regrettable incident.

And if the woman truly was making her 15th TV appearance over the incident, methinks I smell a money-grubbing opportunist. Or maybe she thinks the rest of us really ARE that worried about how "wronged" she was. Yeah, riiiggghht....

One more note of interest - her important doctor's Appt. that she was flying to on the day she "got in trouble" with South West was to see her boob-job doctor! :hysterical:

But then it happened to a 2nd passenger? Name is Setara Qassim and she was told to cover her top by a female attendent from what I've read.

Southwest Airlines shouldnt be embarassing paying passengers with their dress code.

If the clothing is legal to ware in the terminal it should be legal on the plane.

If Southwest wants a dress code they should tell passengers about it before a passenger buys a ticket.

I see women like this from time to time out in public. They wear really short skirts and then when they bend over or sit down with their legs spread they give men something to drool over. They know exactly what they are doing and enjoy the response they get.
If thats what this women was doing and I say if as I was not there to witness how she was sitting or handling herself, I can see why a flight attendant would ask her to please adjust her clothing or cover up.
Its been blown into a full scale media circus and the truth and facts of the situation have very likely been highly distorted.
The idea of a lawsuit is a joke and It would likely be thrown out once the actual facts were presented to a judge. Flight attendant tells judge she was throwing a bever shot and the women says who me?
