The gal who was removed from Southwest airlines for improper dress made it on to Dr. Phil which reportedly was the 15th TV appearance for her regarding the incident.
Dr. Phil set up the situation in grand fashion and at one point asked if she were to receive an appology from Southwest would she drop it. Her response was "yea, pretty much."
They then had a rep from Virgin Atlantic appear who thought she looked fantastic and gave her free tickets to fly with them. (plug, plug, plug). Dr. Phil next read an appology from the CEO of SW which somewhat made light of the situation and their reaction to it, but appolgized twice in the letter to her as well as awarding her two free roundtrip tickets to anywhere they fly.
She took both sets of tickets and then when asked if this was the end of it, stated she would not appear on TV anymore, but left open the door to filing a lawsuit. Dr. Phil and the audience groaned and she handed back the SW tickets stating she'd never fly on SW again and wouldn't need them.
Supposedly, her attorney who was on the show wants a formal policy from SW and training of their employees so "something like this won't happen again."
Go figure.
