Deed recording in Avon

Anyone know how fast they are recording deeds in Avon, CO? I want me resale recorded by Nov 21. Do you think there's any chance? The deed was sent in on October 29. Will SVO let me make reservations without the recorded deed? Any advice?

One trick is to get a printout of the image and send that to SVO for the ownership transfer (versus waiting for the original to arrive in the mail). That will save about a week. SVO is relatively quick in updating records, took me a week or so last time.

If you have a closing company, they should be handling this for you.

It depends on which Starwood Brand you have. Here are the owner services phone numbers for each brand. Call them for details. Most also have a $25 transfer fee you need to include with a photocopy of the recorded deed.
