I m @ Flagship. Any questions?

Hi,

I just got here today and am very happy so far. Parking garage is dark but other than that, I am happy. Even elevators, I haven't waited more than 5 minutes. I got the corner room and view is AWESOME!

Ask if you have any questions.

Is there any new development by the Flagship? Not much around it if I remember right.

I am staying at xx16 unit and it's the BEST!!!! We have Ocean view, Brigatine, Taj Mahal view and sun rise in the morning.
One problem we are having is Heater. Maintenance group are real fast coming to fix the problem, but the problem is they haven't been able to fix it.

Are you kidding me? It's the best place I have stayed. Well, actually I did stay a nice resort in Orlando but this have beautiful view. It's like Bellagio front fountain view but just a little bit better. As customer service, it's great. Parking and heating is the only complaint so far but for the price, I will be back again.

I haven't seen any more development. I decided not to do the TS presentation of Fantasea resorts but Wyndham, I am doing tomorrow. New Casino coming next to ShowBoat. Real big and nice casino from what I can tell. Sand Casino is torned down and new one will be built soon. By Bogota, there is new building. Also Harrah has another new building. I am not sure if there is going to be new TS but new buildings everywhere.
Good place to invest from what I can see.

Wireless Internet works better than at home. I SlingBoxed and watching all the local channels including football and basketball games. Not missing a show.

I was there in August and it's about a 10-15 minute walk down the Boardwalk to the Showboat.

I've stayed there a few times for conventions. Last time, we were in one of the presidential penthouse units, those are nice. When you get to the penthouse units go to the large windows in the lounge area and follow the circular stairs to the 2 units upstairs. If no one is there (doors open) take a look.

Is there a swimable beach right there for kids to swim? We've thought about going in the summer. How is the pool area?

You should reconsider. There is no beach at or near Flagship, no playground and their pool does not qualify as a resort pool. IMO, this neighborhood is unsuitable for kids of any age.

Obviously Kola has some issues with the Flagship. There is no beach at the Flagship but there is a free shuttle to Bally's which has a great beach right there. We were there in August and my daughter and two of her friends took the shuttle every day and loved the beach. It's only a 6 or 7 minute ride and the shuttle runs back and forth every hour all day long.

I'm not sure what makes a pool a "resort" pool, but the pool at the Flagship is fine...it's just not really big.

The surrounding neighborhood is a bit run down but you're only going to walk the Boardwalk anyway, and that's fine. We walked it every day, as did our teenagers.

I could see why some people might not like it as much others. I like it because it's not as expensive as other Ocean front. Service is good although building is little old. I am still having Heating problem and service comes out after 5 minutes of calling but still not be able to fix it. it's been 3 nights.
So far, my only complain is parking and heating.

I would definitely take shuttle to Bally's. There is one every hour on peak days. So many people and kids during summer at the beach. If you don't want crowd, you can go south to Ocean City or even more south.
Surf is awesome here but water is not as clear as Hawaii or Florida. I have never surfed but love boogie boarding.
As for Pool, it's small and cloudy but fun for just being in the water. My family just did the aquarobics and it was fun. Hot tub is good and they have inside and outside.

Great day...

They changed my room since heating was the problem. They said they were sorry for not replacing us sooner. Had good time running, swimming and hot tub. Went to Trump and won some money. Got a room at Trump and slept there although I could have come back to Flagship.
Exercise room is awesome. You can run and exercise in front of the Ocean view. TV is there so you can watch while exercising.
