Airfare SLC-GEG

I am planning to book return airfares between Salt Lake City and Spokane for September 2008. These are currently $240 - $260 on Delta. However I would like to be sure that I buy my seats at a 'good' price.

I like to have my travel plans in place early, so my interest is not in seeking a great last minute bargain, but I know from experience that reductions are to be had at other times.

What predictions would anyone who studies these things make for the changes in the price of SLC-GEG tickets booked between now and Feb 2008, say? www.farecast.com is not making predictions this far out.

John, it is waaaay too early to book, but I just looked at SLC-GEG fares on Southwest for February just for comparison purposes, and found full refundable fares of $173 and Web fares as low as $76. There seems to be one non-stop flight per day and a couple of 1-stop departures each way daily.

I think these can be booked 6-months in advance only at www.southwest.com Other booking engines don't list Southwest fares.

Enjoy your stay on this side of the pond.
