Smile Captain's Quarters Surfside Cape Cod

Hi. I have a pending reservation for the captain's quarters surfside,
cape cod, October 3 - 10, 2008. I have a few questions. Does anyone
have any opinions on the resort and location, and is it better to go in September or October, weatherwise? Also, how hard would it be to get a getaway for this resort or the edgewater in September or October? If
it wouldn't be too hard, I'd save my exchange for something else. Quick
responses are appreciated since I need to cancel by noon tomorrow if I
decide to. Thanks, everyone! Judy

I would look at Surfside Resort down the block. it has more amenities, especially off season. Anyplace in the cape is easy after Labor Day.

I would also agree that September is likely to be nicer. We've gone to Nantucket a couple of times Columbus Day week and it can be breezy and chilly. Always nice, but mixed. We went the last week in September once and the weather was terrific.
