Question Help! Shipping package to resort

Has anyone ever had something shipped to the resort for the timeframe that you are there?

I made last minute plans to go to Nashville. Got a 2 bd at Wyndham Nashville.
Yeah!
I absolutely have to get Keith Urban tickets from e-bay or somewhere, but since I am leaving on the 24th and with Thanksgiving in there I am afraid that I will not receive the tickets on time at my home.

I will ask the seller to send it so that it arrives while I am there. Will they hold it at the desk for me?

If you have done this before, please let me know how it works out.

Thanks,
Shirley

Yes they will hold it for you. I have experience with this both as a former hotel employee and as a hotel guest. Last year I bought all new clothes for my trip online and had it all shipped directly to the resort. It was all waiting for me when I got there.

In the address, put your arrival date.

Have the sender write: please hold for guest arriving(date).

Thank you so much for your detailed info! I was pretty sure that it would be ok, but hearing from someone with experience makes me feel much better.

However, many sellers (on eBay and elsewhere ) will only ship to the PayPal confirmed address, or to the billing address of the credit card. Better check that out first!

Shirley, as others have stated it's pretty common to have things shipped to resorts/hotels. I've done it many times, but had a close call last year! purchased Celine Dion tickets last min. for the wives and had them shipped Fedex directly to the resort. the day of the show got back from a conference and no tickets! called FedEx and found out that the Zip was wrong on the envelope and they had them at the fedex depot. this was 1 hour before Fedex closed and 3 hours before the show! made for a very intense $50 Cab ride out to the LV Airport to Fedex and back to the resort to suprise the girls with the tickets. Moral of the story.... don't cut it too close on time. Concert tickets aren't worth much after the show. RT

If you can stand the extra charges, use Ticketmaster. I have bought tickets for LV shows and printed them out before I left. That way, I have a copy and if necessary (like if I forget to pack them), I can print another one at an internet cafe when I get there.

Cheers

I e-mailed the seller and she said she would mail them any place that I wanted. I ended up getting seats that were almost as good and a little cheaper from ticketmaster, so that I could print my own and not have to worry about it.

Good to know that it is an option to have something shipped.

Glad to hear it but I am amazed Ticketmaster is cheaper than anything.

Cheers

I purchased my tickets from ticketmaster, but from a ticketholder that was selling tickets. They were cheaper but definetly not cheap. This will be my 3rd Keith Urban concert this year and I think I spend more on concerts than I do my timeshares!

My friend and I decided to do a concert a month this year and with this one it actually makes 13!
