Vacation Village Berkshires Question

I have 2 units booked for January and was wondering the lay out of the resort. Are all the buildings 3 story? Any recommendations for a building? We like to be close to the rec center. Thanks.

We were at VV a month ago and really enjoyed our stay. The units are quite large (particularly if you have the A side of the lockout) and nicely furnished. The unit numbers start as you enter the resort with buildings on both sides and then the road curves around the Rec building with units only on the outside. I would guess that starting around unit # 8 you would be directly across from the Rec center. These buildings were all three story with four AB units on each floor. There is a laundry room with two free washers and two free dryers on each floor.

The buildings are located on sloping hillsides in such a way that the middle floor is actually at parking lot level. There are wooden walkways that lead from the lot to an entry vestibule with steps leading up to the third level and down to the first. The layout is such that some of the units on the lower level face in to a grassy slope leading up to the lot (very poor view). The numbering system is that the lower numbers are on the lowest level and that even numbers face into the lot and the rec center and the odd numbers face out to the forest or open views. I called a couple of days b-4 check-in and asked for an upper unit with a view and it was a good thing as we had been scheduled for 1202AB which had a very bad view. The woman I spoke with was very gracious and she changed me to 1311AB which looked out to the woods.

Everyone at the resort was very helpful and friendly.
