Timeshare near Saratoga? - Timeshare Users Group Online Community Forums

My relatives are planning a family vacation in Saratoga, NY. We are from California and do not know New York at all. Are there any timeshares in or near Saratoga? Could anyone recommend one or two? If there are not any timeshares, could you recommend a hotel or motel? We are traveling with 2 teenagers in the summer, during racing season. Thank you. I know if anyone can give us good advice it will be the Tuggers.

Lake George and Lake Placid would be closest timeshares. You'll never get Lake George in race season and Lake Placid is available for August 2009.

Lake Placid is way to far to stay if your vacationing in Saratoga. You're better off just finding a hotel, and you should do it soon. Racing season is prime time here and many places are probably already booked up. The Gideon Putnam is a nice place right in the heart of Saratoga.

We have stayed at the Summit at Gore Mountain (RCI 2507). It is about 60 miles from Saratoga. It is a ski resort and so we were able to get in July 2000.
