Is there a Harboride/Atlantis specific website for owners and/or rentals?

Just curious is there's a place that specializes in Harborside rentals (for rentees or rentors) moreso than the traditional redweek, myresortnetwork, etc., sites.

Thanks,
David

Yes, there is. It is www.atlantisfamilyfun.com
All they do on this site is Harborside units.
I have used Noreen--if you need their phone number let me know.
Her e mail is noreen@atantisfamilyfun.com
They own units that they rent as well as rent units for owners.
I have used them as well as other owners that I know.

do you know what the commission rate/fee is from atlantisfamilyfun? their prices seem higher than I ever thought I could rent for - so depending on the commission, may be worthwhile for me to have them rent it.

They charge 20% and from my review of their site and seeing availability of listings and how long they are on they seem to get their prices. If you google looking for Harborside they come up with an ad they have on VRBO.com which is a very popular site.

Maria - I wrote to Noreen and already she contacted me. I'm probably going to give it a try! She said thanks for mentioning her.

Thanks for the replies. How about a site where owners can exchange weeks with other owners--does something like that exist by chance?

Possibly rent. I was just curious if there was some board that was active among Harborside owners similar to the Disney boards I've heard about.

Thanks,
David

Maria,
I have always shied away from using them to rent out because they seem to have policy that people can cancel with a one night penalty. Do you worry that you will end up with a cancellation and only one night's rent and not enough time to re-rent it out?

If the renter cancels, you (as the renter) still get your full commission - see below with my email to Noreen and her response. I think its awesome. Her rates are higher than I likely can get on my own. If the person cancels, I have my money and dont need to worry about a thing.

You are paid 3 weeks after it's booked. Once you are paid you are done, no
matter what happens:)

I had asked that also--they seem to take the risk--I think it is because they are so successful at renting them.
In one case where I listed one kind of late they bought it direct from me as it got close to the date because they knew they would rent it--they gave me a flat fee so I didn't have to worry about making alternate plans and it did rent==I was happy==they were happy.

All I can say is that while mine was on they got others like first week of January which isn't typically that popular a week and it rented--mine was a holiday week that they knew would rent but I had to either make plans to go or not and they took it and it did rent--I just didn't have the luxury to wait it out and it was last minute as one of my kids was going to go but the arrival of a baby on the horizon changed their plans.
I also think those who want to rent are more comfortable renting from a "company" versus a person and it also allows them to charge it--between those two things I think explains the reason they got higher rents.
Too bad there isn't a site exclusively for other popular destinations.
