Creating web pages

Doug, I just went thru your Yellowstone pics and stories. It was just beautiful!! I would love to learn to make a web page like that. Was it hard?

I code my pages by hand, using knowledge I've gained over the years, mostly from online tutorials. A google search for html tutorial will bring up all sorts of helpful sites.

In addition, there are some html editors that let you build your page in a what-you-see-is-what-you-get (WYSIWYG) environment, and the editor creates the actual html code. I'd recommend you DON'T use a Microsoft program (i.e. FrontPage, or save documents from Word or Excel as html) to create pages because they tend to use Microsoft-proprietary code that does not comply with internet standards, and so many times won't display properly except in Microsoft Internet Explorer. One such editor I CAN recommend is
