FL Spring Training question

We're heading down to Spring Training in Orlando and I need to be in the shade. Anyone out there on TUG know where should we sit in the following parks:1)Lake Buena Vista; 2) Kissimmee; 3)Viera; 4)Vero Beach; 5)Winter Haven; and 6)Lakeland. Your help is appreciated!

We were at the Astros stadium (Osceola County Stadium in Kissimmee) last year and will be again this year. The upper part of the third base side is in the shade. Our seats last year were in Section 205, row 16, completely shaded for the whole game.

We were also at the Indians stadium last year(Chain of Lakes Park in Winter Haven). I don't have the ticket stubs from that game but we were also on the third base side there and in the shade.

We have tickets for this year for a Tigers game at Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland. We haven't been there before but from the pictures I've seen our third base side, near the top seats should be in the shade.

Unless they have added some roofed area you won't find any shaded seats at Viera. I've been to a number of minor league games there but that was over 10 years ago.

I haven't been to any of the other Grapefruit league stadiums so I can't give a first hand report. I had a link to a photo site with a lot of pictures of the Florida stadiums. If I find that link I'll post it for you. The pitchers and catchers have already reported, it's less than 2 weeks to the first spring training games. Enjoy!!!

Edited to add - This isn't the site I remember, but it has pictures of a number of the spring training parks in Florida and Arizona. It might help. http://www.digitalballparks.com/SpringIndex.html

Thanks for your quick response. I guess third base is it and hope they let me bring an umbrella to see the Nationals!
