Wow! What a bunch of slick willy's those guys are. And I thought developer timeshare salesmen where slick. The developers get you coming and these guys get you going. Normally I'd feel sorry for anyone that falls for their line of BS and pays them to take their timeshare off their hands but, if they're not smart enough to list their timeshare for a $1 no reserve auction on E-bay like these guys do (using a third party of course) then they're getting what they deserve.....fleeced.
They pull out all the tricks including the "RCI has reduced exchange inventory by 75% and is renting out all the good weeks" to "don't let your kids be forced into inheriting your albatrose." I wonder if they just pulled that 75% firgure out of the air and since when was anyone ever forced to accept an inheritance they didn't want?
On the other hand, maybe I should have thought this business model up. You give me $3,000 (or whatever the going rate might be) and I'll transfer the title of your timeshare to a third party (probably one I have an interest in) and then I'll sell your timeshare via E-bay (assuming it's a timeshare we want and it's paid in full) in a no reserve auction for $1. There will be another company (again one I'm probably associated with but don't appear to own directly) to do the title transfer for $395 (or more) and make even more money off the person whose learned to look or bargains.
I just can't believe people get so desperate as to fall for this and then fall on their knee's thanking them for taking their money to get rid of their timeshare. Simply amazing.
Sorry, I know we've all talked about it but going to that web site and reading the propaganda they're selling just about made me fall off my chair laughing.
