Exchanging in II? If I change request?

If I change my request from a 2 bedroom to a 1 bedroom do I go back to the bottom of the waitlist? Any thoughts on this?

You can go on-line and make any change you would like and it will not move you on the waiting list!

Only time there is a problem is when you completely stop your exchange.

The exchange is not only based on your place in line anyway so it wouldn't have much of a affect unless your trying for someplace like Hawaii in four months. :wave:
 
Not Hawaii but Disney :) I have always gotten a 2 bedroom in the past 3 trips but this trip is scheduled for May 31st- June 8th. and I am not sure I will be able to land a 2 bedroom in this timeframe. I have been on the waitlist for a month or so. Thanks... any more advice is appreciated. :)

You will see on-line where it asked smallest unit you will except and you can enter one bedroom with no problem!

I called II last year about my Maui vacation 2008 and asked because we wanted two bedroom but some of the resorts had more one bedrooms for exchange.

II agent added to my request that we still wanted two bedroom but to please contact if one of these three resorts one bedroom with kitchen became available.

Disney is hard to get into anytime so being flexable will help you!

We even had our two bedroom on request first(only way we exchange) July 4th week 2008 and when she offered a one bedroom we had her change our unit to our one bedroom Tower unit and had the Ridge rent the lock-off for this week.

II will work for you if you just call and ask for their help!

This way we go to Maui in May then come back and spend our week in Lake Tahoe for the fourth of July.:banana:
