I just left the Ko Olina property -- here is the current pricing for EOY.
2/2 Ocean view - $28,680
2/2 Ocean View Penthouse - $34,400
Marriott Points: 75,000
Note: I have over 2.2M in Marriott points :whoopie: -- so I really don't need the bonus points.
This is what I need help with?
Why would I purchase new? Looking at all the post -- the only beneift I loose is the ability to turn the EOY into points. Which is not a real need for me now or in the future.
It seems current resale pricing for Ocean View EOY is about to $18K to $20K -- Again -- I ask myself why purchase new?
HELP -- what am I missing?

PS -- the large plot of land in front of the current property is going to be developed and has the potential to block a "nice size chunk" of the view in front of the current bld. Any way have any more insight on what maybe built there?
