Me too! I think that's great. Wish I could take advantage of the $7.00 fair but can't travel during the promotion.

Just curious-- Do you prefer to drive to JFK or fly out of Islip with a connecting flight to the caribbean?

I live in Mount Sinai and I booked a flight to Puerto Rico with a connection in Philadelphia to avoid the trip to JFK during rush hour. Now I'm nervous because the time between flights is only an hour and 35 minutes. I've never done a connection before. I'm leaving on a Wednesday morning, so you know what traffic is like to get to JFK. What would you do?

I am glad to see we have more options. Doesn't work for me yet. We are going to Knoxville in Aug--Spirit doesn't go there. Florida in April--flight don't start until May. Maybe in the future I will be able to take advantage of their deals!

I probably would have taken the Islip flight even though it has the connection. That way at the end, when you land your just about home! When my vacation is over, for me it's all about getting home!

1 hr 35 seems fine, what makes me nervous is under an hour with the flight leaving JFK at 9 am - there is NO WAY you take off on time at that time of day.

I would have picked your ISP flight.

Thanks for the information. Is there long-term parking at the Islip airport?

And for those of us who live in the Town of Islip there's "free" parking (after buying a $20 annual sticker.)
