I have found TS rentals on Ebay this year a lot slower and less active than previous years and more difficult to get decent rental rates.

Most recent example in my case was Manor Club Sequel where I rented the studio for $695 and the 1 bdrm portion for $795. Together, $1,490 is more than the $850 MF, but it dipped this year probably due to the economy. These rentals were for the last week of June08 and first week of July08. I do not think I would have got as much for the complete 2 bedroom suite on the MMC side. The studio went in one week and the 1 bdrm took 2 weeks.

Although not a timeshare I have a home in a Delaware Beach area and last year by this time it was fully rented==I have gotten several rentals in the last few weeks so I am thinking folks are just putting off their decisions till later this year to put more money aside?? It may be the same case with e bay. I have noticed other homes aren't rented also so it is not just me.

Can't speak to eBay, but I got asking price again (same number as last year) for our gold NCV unit reserved for Memorial Day. Had it rented within a week of placing the ad on Redweek about 6 weeks ago. Luckily, my price was 100.00 less than the other units for that week. Renter paid by check so no PP fees.
