What do you think...is this a good deal? $2.5/pt for a fixed platinum summer week at this resort.

There are already resales. wow that fast.

Sounds high for a resale. I would only be interested if you wanted a guaranteed summer week in CA every year. If you don't care and just want HGVC points, I would keep on looking.

When the resort was first announced, it was said that resale buyer would notbe HGVC affilates if they bought resale. (This has not been confirmed!)

So price per pt isn't part of the question. If you don't get HGVC pts by buying resale, then there is only a fixed summer week.
 
Wow! Im surprised they are selling resale in Marbrisa-especially since they just opened-
I dont see 2.5 / point as being expensive-
HGVC Waikoloa which opened 2 years ago, is reselling at around 18-20000 for 7000 points
Orlando is a resort Mill- so comparing the resale price to seaworld is apples an oranges - I think
It is an HGVC affiliate- I dont know if this lowers the price-
